Venda Nova do Imigrante’s Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan

The Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan (PMSB) is an instrument required by Federal Law No. 11.445/2007 (regulated by Federal Decree No. 7.217/2010) that established the National Policy for Basic Sanitation. Its implementations will make it possible to plan the Municipal Sanitation actions in the direction of the universal service. The PMSB shall cover the following services:

- Water supply;

- Sanitary sewage;

 - Urban cleaning and solid waste management; and

- Rainwater management and drainage.

Based on the Technical Cooperation Agreement signed between the Federal University of Espírito Santo (Ufes) and the Association of the Municipalities of the State of Espírito Santo (AMUNES), the Service Provision Agreement No. 2741/2013 was signed between Ufes and the municipality of Venda Nova do Imigrante, signed on November 29, 2013, grounded on the waiver of bidding, based on Article 24, Item VIII of Law 8.666/1993. The purpose of this agreement is the preparation of PMSB for the municipality of Venda Nova do Imigrante.

The Venda Nova do Imigrante’s Municipal Basic Sanitation Plan (PMSB) was delivered on September 27, 2017, during a Public Hearing held at Venda Nova do Imigrante’s SENAC.
