1st Public Hearing of the PMAE/PMGIRS of the municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim
Na noite da última quarta-feira (19), aconteceu a primeira audiência pública para revisão do Plano Municipal de Água e Esgoto e elaboração do Plano Municipal de Gestão Integrada de Resíduos Sólidos (PMAE/PMGIRS) do município de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim.
On the night of last wednesday (19), the first Public Hearing to the review the Municipal Water and Sewage Plan and the elaboration of the Municipal Plan for Integrated Solid Waste Management (PMAE/PMGIRS) was held in the municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim.
The hearing was held in the auditorium of the Commercial, Industrial and Services Association of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim and counted with the participation of the municipal technical team, part of the Lagesa/Ufes work team, and representatives of others municipal institutions such as the City Council, Public Ministry, Attorney General, OAB, Municipal Secretaries, Agersa, BRK Ambiental, Corpus, Sindirochas, Rural Union, academic institutions and civil society.
During the event, the work proposal for the elaboration of the PMAE/PMGIRS was presented by Lagesa's team and a summary of the Work Plan and Social Mobilization Plan. These products were approved by members of the Monitoring Committee for the Municipal Water and Sewage Plan's review and the Inter-Secretariat Committee for Solid Waste Management, and are available for public consultation by the population.
Also, it was presented the regionalization proposal for the plan's elaboration and the expected schedule for upcoming events. At the occasion, a quiz was also applied to assess the knowledge on basic sanitation of those who were present.
At the end of the hearing, the participants had the opportunity to make their contributions.
